• February 8: This site is now mirrored. Since my SFSU account can be canceled at the whim of the school now that I have graduated, I have the new page up as a safeguard. The address is http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/8737/Guide.html. My entire site is mirrored, in fact, from the stem page http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/8737/. Come early and often!
  
  
• January 20: Everyone keep in mind that the 1998 TESOL Convention is slated for March 16-21 in Seattle. Advance discount prices are not available after Jan. 22nd, but you can get day passes for $90 a day (as opposed to $230 for the whole thing).
  
  
• January 20: The whole site has just been updated, with more information, updated links and a whole new format.
  
  
• January 20: Fair warning to anyone who bookmarks or links to this site: I graduated from the university which supplied me with this site in December 1997, and so they may cut me off at any time with only two week's notice. It might happen in a month, or in 6 months--they work in mysterious ways. Because they do not provide a forwarding link or any post-mortem notification, you might temporarily lose this site--but I will try to establish a mirror site as a transition point before I set this up permanently on whatever ISP I go with next. I'll keep this page updated on any moves or shutdowns.
